Apple has successfully completed its event and just as rumors had it, they did unveil some new products we
highlighted in our previous post. Here are the highlights from the “peak performance event.
Green iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro
Apple released one new color variant each for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro which are, Bold Green and Alpine
Green respectively (Basically, it’s Dark Green for iPhone 13 and Light Green for the pro model). Tim cook stated that
both color variants could bepre-ordered on Friday being 11th of March, and they would be out by March 18.
iPhone SE 5G
Apple announced a new, 5th gen iPhone SE was announced. It features the A15 Bionic chip, 4.7″ retina HD display,
IP67 dust and water resistance, improved cameras (It’s still a 12MP camera) They are three color variants; Midnight
(black),Starlight (white) and Product Red. The price of the iPhone SE starts at $429. It can also be pre-ordered on
Friday and be available by March 18.
iPad Air
iPad Air was also revealed, sporting Apple’s M1 chip, the same chip inside the iPad Pro. The company claims this
is a 60% increase in performance over the previous iPad Air, and 2x faster GPU performance. it’s new features include
a 12MP ultra wide selfie camera, and 5G connectivity. It is compactible with Smart Keyboard folio, Magic Keyboard,
and Apple Pencil Space Grey, Starlight, Pink, Purple, and Blue. The price of the iPad Air will begin at $599. Memory
options are 64Gb and 256Gb
M1 Ultra Chip
Apple has added a new M1 chip to the M1 lineup, the M1 ultra which possesses a 20-core CPU and 64-core GPU
and its first appearance is in the newly unveiled Mac Studio which also come with a new 27″ inch Mac Display,
offering an A13 Bionic chip on the inside, 5K retina resolution. Mac studio with M1 max chip starts at $1,999, while
the variant with M1 ultra starts at $3,999.
