The Tecno Camon 19 series officially launched in an event which held at Rockefeller Center in New York, with the Camon 19 Pro being at the focus as it is the first device in the world to feature a 64 MP RGBW sensor which was made by Samsung.
The device comes with 6.8” IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz of refresh rate. Tecno claims that the Camon 19 Pro has the Industry’s slimmest bezels which is just 0.98 mm thick. The screen also houses the selfie camera in a centered hole punch cutout. The colors are Eco Black and Sea Salt White.
The device has a Helio G96 chip at its helm , and this is somewhat heartbreaking cause I thought it would be the Helio G99, or the Dimensity 900, and its the same chip from its predecessor, Camon 18 Premier. The processor is backed up by 4GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. There will probably be an 8GB+256GB edition.
The star of the Camon 19 Pro show is the camera system. The design is the same with what we see on the Camon 19 Neo. It features a 64 MP ISOCELL RGBW sensor which is a sensor with a red-green-blue-white color filter. the auxiliary sensors include a 50 MP shooter with 2x optical zoom. The cameras also support OIS and EIS.
The Powerhouse still sports a 5,000 mAh, Li-Po battery and has 33W fast charging. The Tecno Camon 19 Pro 4GB+128GB is available on pre-order at a Price of KES24,499 ($210) in Kenya.
