Mediatek has Kinda followed the lead of Qualcomm by releasing an improved version of the Dimensity 9000 as the Dimensity 9000+, just like Qualcomm released the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
On this Soc, the Image signal processing and 5G modem have been improved, and also has improvrd the CPU and graphics by 5% and 10% respectively.
though it still has its three Cortex-A710 cores and four high-efficiency Cortex-A510 cores, the Cortex-X2core has an increased speed from 3.05GHz to 3.2GHz. The GPU is now a Mali-G710 MC10.
The Imagiq 790 is able to shoot 18-bit HDR video from three cameras at the same time. It also supports still images up to 320MP and has a processing speed of 9 gigapixels per second. There’s also support for 4K HDR video with AI noise reduction.
The 5G modem gets improved in downlink speeds up to 7Gbps using 3CC carrier aggregation. Tnere is also support for Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and MiraVision 790 to support WDHD+ displays with 144Hz refresh rates or 180Hz at FHD and Wi-Fi display support up to 4K60 for HDR video.
According to Mediatek, the Dimensity 9000+ would be available for devices as from july.
