Ever Seen an Outer Folding Phone, well Huawei Just Made the Mate Xs 2
We’ve seen much of folding phones lately, ranging from the Samsung Z Fold to the Vivo X Fold, but Huawei thought ‘outside the fold’ this time as they have launched an outer foldable device which they call the Huawei Mate Xs 2.
The Mate Xs 2 features last year’s Snapdragon 888 4G processor, backed up by either 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
The screen of this device is a foldable OLED display which unfolds to a length of 7.8 inches. It has a resolution of 2480 x 2200px and a 120Hz refresh rate. When the Mate Xs 2 folded around the back, the screen returns to a smaller 6.5-inches with a resolution of 2480 x 1176 px.
For your photography, Huawei has put a triple camera setup at the rear and a single front camera which is housed in a hole-punch at the top-right corner of the screen.
The rear cameras consist of a 50 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultrawide camera, and an 8 MP telephoto shooter which features 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom and it has OIS. The selfie shooter is a 10 MP one.
The smartphone supports Huawei’s M-Pen 2s stylus so you can take down notes or draw stuff on your phone in its tablet mode. the device also runs on the new Harmony OS 2.
For the power section, the Huawei is powered by a 4,880 mAh battery that is 66W fast charging enabled. The device will come in three different colors. Purple, black, and white.
