Infinix Has Launched The Premium Note 12 And Note 12 VIP

Infinix is at it again with their newest, more premium versions of the Note 12 lineup, which are the Note 12 (G96), and the Note 12 VIP. We predicted it would be a flagship but, err it seems to be a midranger.

The Note 12 VIP which was leaked earlier this month, features a 6.7″ super light AMOLED display which has a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution and 360Hz of touch sampling rate.

The device is powered by the Mediatek Helio G96 which is really a bummer cause i’d have prefered a dimensity chip to one from the G-series. it is backed up by 8GB of RAM which can be extended to 13GB using virtual RAM.

The charging speed of this device steals the spotlight as the Infinix Note 12 VIP supports 120W Hyper Charge making it the third phone to feature such technology. You will get 50% in 5 mins, and full charge in 17 mins.

Infinix Note 12 (G96)

The Note 12 (G96) is a step down from the Note 12 VIP but still carry the same chipset, hence the name “G96”. This one doesn’t have a high refresh rate but sports the same 6.7” FHD+ AMOLED display.

The camera and charging speed of the Note 12 (G96) have also been stepped down. It charges  the bigger 5,000 mAh battery at 33W. The main camer is now 50 MP and the second one is 2 MP. The megapixel count of the last one is unknown. the selfie camera still remains at 16 MP.

The RAM and the OS remains the same in this model and both devices have dual speakers with DTS, but only the VIP has dual X-axis linear motors for a superior haptic feedback.
