Macbook Air M2 has been unveiled with Apple’s New M2 chip

Apple unveiled the Macbook Air M2 at the WWDC 2022, and it came with the new M2 chip (hence the name), and a complete redesign, and is still without a cooling fan. bear in mind that this isn’t a completely new product, but a refurbished version of the Macbook Air.

The device is screaming “Ultra-thin” coming in at a thickness of 11mm and weighing just 2.7 pounds or 1.22 kilos. the display is a 13.6″ Liquid Retina Panel which can display up to 1 billion colors, and has a peak brightness of 500 nits.

The display of this Macbook Air M2 still has a notch which houses its web camera. speaking of the Web camera, it has been updated to 1080p. There is also a quad-speaker setup now.

the device now has the Magic Keyboard feature with a bigger function key row. You also get a 3.5mm combined headphone jack, and two USB-C ports.

Power-wise, the laptop has 18 hours of video playback, it now supports magsafe wireless charging, and it supports Fast Charging with the 67W USB-C adapter.

The Macbook Air (M2) will start retailing by July for a starting price of $1,199 which has up to 2TB of SSD storage and up to 24GB of memory.
