Nothing Phone (1): Expected Specs, Pricing, & Availability In India

Carl Pei’s latest escapade with the Nothing Phone (1) has been the talk of the tech universe during this summer due to its hype. The device is set to launch in an event which is to hold on the 12th of July.

100 units of this device are currently in the hands of some people as the device was auctioned some days ago on Stock X.

Now unto the main specs of the Nothing Phone (1), it’s actually a mid-ranger. The device will feature a Snapdragon 778G+ 5G chip sitting at it’s helm, (as seen on Geekbench listing) backed up by 8GB of RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB (we don’t know which one, or if it will be both).

The Software area will be covered by Android 12, and the Nothing OS which we have all seen a beta preview of. If you haven’t, go to the Google playstore and download the Nothing Launcher Beta (it’s available on selected devices).

The Nothing Phone (1)  a 6.55 inches OLED screen with a FHD+ resolution and 120Hz of refresh rate. It also houses the 8MP selfie camera in a hole-punch cutout.

The design of the device has been seen by all (the image you see above), and the glyph interface has been talked about on this website, so you can check out that link to know all about it.

The dual camera setup are the tricky part, but GSMarena believes that it will be made up of a 50 MP main camera, and a 12 MP ultrawide shooter, while an 8 MP camera sits on the front.

For the powerhouse, the Nothing phone (1) will be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery which supports 45W fast charging, wireless charging, and Reverse wireless charging also. We only know of a white color model, though we suspect there may later be a black version, just like Carl did with the Nothing Ear (1) wireless earbuds.

For the price, The Nothing Phone (1) will be priced within the $450 to $600 range which is about 35,252 INR to 47,000 INR in India.
