Oppo had an event today which they unveiled some new products which include the New Reno 8 Series which include the Reno8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro+.
The three devices come with different chipsets, including the recently announced Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Which the Pro Model houses. The Reno 8 comes with Mediatek’s Dimensity 1300 chipset, while the Reno 8 Pro+ sports a Dimensity 8100 Plus.
The Three Reno 8 models also feature Oppo’s Mari X Silicon NPU which the company used in their previously released flagship, the Oppo Find X5 Pro.
Reno 8
The Reno8 Sports a 6.43″ AMOLED display which has 90 Hz of refresh rate. The Rear camera features a 50MP MP main shooter, a 2MP monochrome sensor and a 2MP macro camera.
This is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 1300, backed up by 8GB or 12GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage space. The software is an Android 12 and ColorOS 12.1. This device has a 4,500 mAh battery which charges at a speed of 80W.
The Reno8 starts at CNY 2,499 ($375) for the 8/128GB version and a higher price of CNY 2,999 ($450) for the 12/256 GB model.
Reno 8 Pro
The Reno8 Pro features a 6.62-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate . The device is the first one to feature the all-new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
The chip is backed up by 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB. The software part of it is the Android 12 and ColorOS 12.1. You still have the 4,500 mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging.
Reno8 Pro comes in blue, black and colors at a starting price of CNY 2,999 ($450) for the 8/128GB model. There are 8/256GB CNY 3,199 ($180) and 12/256GB CNY 3,499 ($525) models available too.
Reno 8 Pro +
The maxed out model, Reno8 Pro+ comes with a 6.7-inch OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. This model has a 32MP selfie shooter in a centered hole-punch, (the other models have a right-cornered hole-punch).
The Dimensity 8100 Max is Oppo’s choice for this device, and it’s paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The Rear camera features a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor for its Main camera, an 8 MP Ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro shooter. It also has Oppo’s in-house MariSolicon X NPU, which promises better AI noise reduction and 4K Ultra Night Video.
Still features ColorOS 12.1 on top Android 12, and 4,500 mAh battery which charges at 80W SuperVOOC charging
Oppo Reno8 Pro+ comes in grey, black and green colors. The base model 8GB/256GB retails for CNY 3,699 ($556) while the 12/256GB model goes for CNY 3,999 ($600).
