Google has just announced the New Pixel Lineup which includes the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro and you can order them into Nigeria. These devices come with Google’s new, and improved chipset, the Tensor G2, 3 OS updates, 5 years of security patches, and some other new stuff I’ll be covering. The Pricing is really similar to what it was last year with the Pixel 6 lineup. Alright, let’s get into the specifications.
Pixel 7
The base model pixel is obviously the smaller and the cheaper of the two. The display is a 6.3-inches AMOLED panel having a Full HD+ display and 90Hz refresh rate which is not bad at all. the build material is a glass back & front, and aluminum sides, and it weighs 197g.
Underneath the display, the New Tensor G2 chip sits at the helm of this device, aided by 8GB or RAM only, and 128GB or 256GB of Internal storage space, so its either you’re getting an 8GB/128GB unit, or a higher 8GB/256GB unit.
On this Pixel, theres only two cameras at the back, unlike the Pro model which got three. These two include a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. there’s a 10.8MP selfie camera present. We already saw good software processing of images on the Pixel 6, and i bet it’s even better on the Pixel 7, so expect good photography power from this thing.
The battery on the device has a 4,355mAh capacity which charges at 30W with cable and 20W wirelessly. It also supports reverse wireless charging.

Pixel 7 Pro
The older brother, Pixel 7 Pro has some big difference which makes it more expensive the the regular Pixel 7. Starting with the display, the size has been increased to 6.7 inches AMOLED and a 120Hz refresh rate is present with LTPO tech. The resolution and brightness has also increased.
The Tensor G2 still powers this Pro version, but its aided by either 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and 128GB/256GB/512GB of internal storage space, thats more options for you dependng on your needs and your pocket.
The cameras on the Pixel 7 Pro is the same 50MP main camera with OIS enabled, and 12MP ultra-wide camera, but there is an extra 43MP telephoto camera. It shoots 4K videos on 30 and 60 fps. The selfie camera is the same 10.8MP sensor.
The Battery capacity gets an upgrade on the Pro model, having a 5000 mAh capacity but the charging speed with cable is the same 30W. Wirelessly, its 23W.
