Vivo X80 Series Has Finally Arrived

you could either get the Vivo X80 pro with a Mediatek Dimensity 9000 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

The Vivo X80 series is finally here after a lot of teasing and leaks, featuring two devices X80 and X80 Pro. Though the X80 Pro+ isn’t among this line-up, sources say that it will be released later in the year.

The X80 pro will arrive in three different colors; turquoise blue, orange, and black, and two different chip-sets; the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and the Mediatek Dimensity 9000, both depends on your choice and budget, but the X80 will only have a Dimensity 9000.

it comes with Android 12 and Origin OS 12. I find it funny that each color i mentioned above comes with different back materials; the blue has a ceramic back, the black has an AG glass, while the orange is in a leather form.

The device is currently exclusive to the Chinese market, but will later go global.

The display is a 6.78″ E5 LTPO2 AMOLED screen featuring 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. The display as usual, holds the ultrasonic fingerprint reader and houses the front camera in a centered hole-punch.

The rear holds a quad camera setup in a rather large camera bump, similar to what is on the Vivo X Note and Vivo X fold. The main camera is a samsung-made 50 MP 1/1.3″ camera.

The 2x Zoom camera makes use of a 12 MP Sony IMX663 1/2″, while the ultrawide and 5x telephoto camera use a 48 MP Sony IMX598 , and an 8 MP OIS sensor. The front camera is a 32MP 1/2.8″ sensor.

This setup is backed up by Vivo’s V1+ ISP chip which improves the photography and videography. Vivo X80 cameras are also made in collaboration with Zeiss optics.

For long-lasting power, this device brings a 4,700mAh battery which can be charged at a rate of 80W, and also features 50W wireless charging.

Other features that make the Vivo X80 a great device include an IP68 water and dust-proof rating, an advanced 27-layer VC cooling system, a HiFi audio chip, and a wide range NFC.
