The ID.buzz microbus (weird naming, right) is the electric bus that Volkswagen recently released photos showing its design.
As we are slowing moving out of gas vehicles to electric ones,it’s only right that the German automobile makers
follow this movement.
ID.buzz microbus design is inspired by the type 2 microbus from 1950. We expect the electric bus to
come in rear- and all-wheel-drive configurations, delivering a driving range that’s expected to be around 260 miles.
Volkswagen mentioned that the microbus will be able to charge its battery from 5 to 80 percent in 30 minutes.
The base model of this automobile will feature a single, rear-mounted electric motor that makes 201 horsepower
and 229 pound-feet of torque. A dual-motor, all-wheel-drive configuration with around 295 horsepower.
Volkswagen will release the bus into the US. market by 2024 at an estimated price of $40,000.
While Europe will get both a commercial and passenger version of the ID.Buzz, The United states will only get a
long-wheelbase passenger one( unless ,of course, you imported one).
