Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro have been launched in Malaysia, having a base price of MYR 3,500. After launching the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12S series, Xiaomi has finally come through with their third flagship series of 2022, the 12T line up which consists of two top-tier phones; the Xiaomi 12T and the Pro model, with the pro model sporting a 200MP camera, Let’s get into the specifications.
Xiaomi 12T Pro
The Pro model is the most interesting of the two, and that is because of the 200MP sensor that has been put into the main camera, making it the second phone to have the 200MP sensor, behind the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.
The Samsung ISOCELL HP1, is the 1/1.22” sensor that makes this possible. The other auxiliary sensors at the rear include an 8MP Ultrawide and 2MP macro camera, nothing really interesting about them. The selfie camera is a 20MP shooter. the rear camera can record 8K videos.
The display on this device is a 6.67-inches AMOLED panel with 1,220 x 2,712px resolution and its guarded by Gorilla glass 5. Other display specs include: 120Hz refresh rate which can be lowered to 90, 60, or 30 to save battery, 900nits of peak brightness, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip which is aided by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage on its base model. you can also pick up the 8/256GB and 12/256GB models. The Xiaomi 12T Pro is a dual-sim, 5G phone running MIUI 13 on Android 12 and it will be live to see Android 15 and 4 Years of security patches according to Xiaomi.
The battery capacity of this device is 5000 mAh and it can be charged at a speed of 120W, giving you full charge from 0% to 100% in 19 minutes. there’s also a charger in the box.

Xiaomi 12T
The Xiaomi 12T doesn’t offer as much as the 12T Pro and it is priced at MYR 2799, and MYR 3020 in Malaysia for the 8/128GB and 8/256GB respectively.
The camera configuration is the same as on the 12T Pro, except the 200MP camera has been swapped out for a 108MP one. The selfie camera is the same 20MP shooter, but non shoots videos in 8K.
The 6.67-inches AMOLED panel stays the same, except it has no Dolby Vision. The Mediatek Dimensity 8100-Ultra is the chip that powers the device, paired with 8GB of RAM only. The Xiaomi 12T is also a dual-sim, 5G phone running MIUI 13 on Android 12.
